I did the evaluation center day yesterday. It wasn’t hard yet I feel I did not do so well, and completely missed the personal interview. The results will be sent on mid-July. Oh my lovely bot followers! keep your cold algorithm fingers crossed for me…

Everything narrows down to one date. May 22nd.
I got the results from the preliminary test. I passed. Now, I’m heading to more severe testing battery. In Jerusalem, from 08:30am to 18:00 (that’s 06:00pm). Group dynamics, role play and the rest of the metrics mambo… The path for the diplomatic core.
In the meanwhile I’m laboring at the new job. If I didn’t have the 22nd to drive my attention away I would have gone mad. Being back at the place I did so much to scrub off my memory – and soooo many people I knew at those times. It really hurts – but the soothing 22nd masks it all.
The locusts are back – It’s like a bad B-movie. The last swarm, which was stopped in our area (The western Negev) has spawned! it didn’t happen in known history, but it happened now… Near Nitzana, millions of locust larva creeped from the soil, and are stretching their new wings. Harvest is going double fast – You can hear the combines from early dawn to late dusk.
But everything crumbles to one, singular point. The 22nd.

בינתיים אני עמל בעבודה החדשה. אם לא היה לי את ה 22 למשוך את דעתי הרחק הייתי משתגע. חזרה במקום שכה עמלתי לקרצף מזכרוני – וכלכך הרבה אנשים שהכרתי אז. זה ממש כואב – אבל הכל ממוסך על ידי ה22
הארבה חוזר – כמו בסרט אימה זול. הנחיל האחרון, שנעצר באזורנו (נגב מערבי) השריץ! זה לא קרה עד כה מעולם – וזה קורה עכשיו. ליד ניצנה, מליוני זחלים בוקעים מהאדמה ומותחים כנפיים חדשות. הקציר מתבצע בשיא המהירות – אפשר לשמוע קומביינים מהשחר מוקדם עד לרדת החשכה.
